At the end of March 31, 2008, there were 412 oil & gas companies with a total market capitalization of $529.3 billion listed on Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange. Oil & gas companies continue to raise equity on our exchanges with $1.2 billion raised in the first quarter of 2008, and $9.2 billion raised in 2007.
